Getting started
Create an account (Google or email), sign in, then follow the setup guide that appears on your first visit. For AI, choose one option: your own OpenAI API key (free), or deposit USDT and use the platform key at OpenAI’s list price plus 10%. A short trial key is also available for a few generations.
- Sign up or sign in from the home page with Google, or with email and password.
- Complete the first-login setup guide (Settings → Profile → resume language → generate).
- Open Settings or Billing: select your OpenAI key (free) or the platform key (USDT, OpenAI price + 10%). Minimum deposit is $10.
- Fill Profile personal info and every work experience with rich detail.
- Choose resume language, PDF template, and portfolio site style in Settings.
- Generate Main or Imagined resumes, tailor Jobs PDFs, draft Upwork bids, and run live interviews with Caption.
New users see an interactive setup guide in the workspace. You can reopen it anytime from the bottom of this page.
Account & sign-in
You can create and open a workspace with Google, or with email and password. Both paths land in the same workspace.
Email and password
Register with the email you use for job bidding when possible — it can appear on generated resumes. Change your password later in Settings.

Follow this order for the smoothest experience. Each step builds on the previous one.

Choose how AI is billed
Workspace → Dashboard, Billing, or Settings. Select your own OpenAI key (free) or the platform key (USDT balance at OpenAI’s list price plus 10%). The selected option is shown on the dashboard.

Build your profile
Workspace → Profile. Add contact info, education, languages, summary, and detailed experience for every employer.

Set resume language & template
Settings → Resume language (20+ languages via OpenAI) and Resume template. The language picker also appears on Jobs, Main Resumes, and Imagined Resumes — your choice is saved account-wide.

Workspace → Main Resumes. Add role categories, pick resume language, click Generate, then preview/download.

Settings
Settings control AI billing (your key or USDT platform key), site language (UI), resume content language, appearance, resume PDF templates, portfolio site style, and password.
OpenAI API key
Add your key in Workspace → Settings and select “Your OpenAI key”. It is stored on your account and used for resume generation, job analysis, cover letters, imagined resumes, Upwork bids, and related AI tools — with no USDT charge.

New users can enable the admin-provided trial key for a few AI generations. For ongoing use, choose your own OpenAI key (free) or deposit USDT and select the platform key (OpenAI list price + 10%). When you generate without access, a prompt offers Settings or Billing.

Choose English or Chinese for menus and labels in the workspace UI. This is separate from resume content language.
Resume language (default)
Default language for AI-generated resume prose and section headings. Change it on any generate page — the selection syncs everywhere and is saved to your account.
Theme
Switch light or dark mode. Your choice is saved for this workspace.
Resume template
Browse thousands of resume HTML/PDF layouts (named styles, structure variants, and color options). Preview templates before choosing. Generated PDFs use the template you selected here.
Portfolio site style
Choose a website look for your public portfolio, independently from the resume PDF template. Publish from Profile to apply it, including resume download and experience previews.
Password
Change your account password in Settings. Google-only accounts can still set a password later if you want email sign-in too.
Billing & prices
AI billing is an explicit choice. The workspace dashboard always shows which option is selected. Switch anytime on Dashboard, Billing, or Settings.
Option 1 — Your OpenAI key
Save your OpenAI API key in Settings and select this option. Resumes, cover letters, bids, advisor chat, and other AI tools use your key. Nothing is deducted from your USDT balance.

Deposit USDT on Solana (SPL USDT only; minimum $10). Select the platform key. Each request uses the shared OpenAI key and is billed from your prepaid balance.

In platform-key mode, every token is charged at OpenAI’s list price plus 10%. Example: $0.40 per 1M input tokens on OpenAI becomes $0.44 on your balance. Billing shows both the OpenAI rate and the amount you pay.
Tip: pick one option before you generate. If you select your key but have not saved one, add it in Settings. If you select the platform key with a $0 balance, deposit USDT first.
Resume language
Resume language controls the language of summary text, experience bullets, and PDF section headings. It is independent of the site UI language (English/Chinese menus).
- Open Settings → Resume language, or use the picker on Jobs, Main Resumes, or Imagined Resumes.
- Choose from 20+ languages (English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and more).
- Your choice is saved automatically and used on every generation page.
- OpenAI translates resume JSON after generation when the target language is not English.
- Skills, technology names, URLs, and company names are kept unchanged when possible.
Tip: pick the language recruiters expect for that market (e.g. Japanese for Japan roles) even if your site UI stays in English.
Profile & portfolio
Your profile is the source of truth for main resumes, job-tailored PDFs, imagined resumes (when grounding in real employers), and Upwork bids.
Edit profile
In Workspace → Profile, keep personal info current: name, contact, links (LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio), education, languages, summary, rate preferences, and timezone. Add every employer with company name, URL, dates, role, skills, and detailed experience text.

Use Update portfolio to publish a public profile page. After publishing, open the public profile link to share with clients or recruiters. Re-run Update portfolio after major profile changes.
Preview profile modal
On Profile or Job pages, open Preview profile to review personal info, university/education, and every experience entry. Education appears under Personal information. Each field has a Copy button so you can paste into applications or AI prompts quickly.
Overview
The workspace home shows application counts, Quick Q&A readiness, upcoming interviews, token usage, and your latest main resumes. Open Usage for daily, weekly, and monthly token charts.

Main resumes are built only from your registered profile — no invented companies or fictional experience.
- Open Workspace → Main Resumes.
- Add resume categories (target role titles) you want PDFs for.
- Select resume language (saved to your account; syncs with other pages).
- Click Generate for a category. Wait for the AI pipeline to finish.
- Preview and download the PDF when ready.
Tip: richer experience text in Profile produces stronger main-resume bullets. Main mode does not invent projects or metrics. After generation, the resume JSON is saved alongside the PDF so Jobs can reuse it as AI context even after a server restart.

Imagined resumes portray a target job title. AI may adapt your experience, combine it with your requirements text, follow new companies you list in requirements, or invent activity when a named company has little detail.
- Open Workspace → Imagined Resumes → New.
- Enter a record title and the target job title.
- Paste requirements (job description, stack, companies, dates, what to emphasize).
- Select resume language, then click Generate Resume and wait — full AI generation can take a minute.
- Preview the PDF, then download or chat-edit for refinements.
Unlike main resumes, imagined resumes are role-targeted and can invent experience when needed. Keep identity details from your profile; use requirements to steer employers and emphasis.

Track applications and generate job-specific resume PDFs, cover text, and advisor answers from a saved job post. Choose which resume context AI should use before summarizing or generating cover text.
- Open Workspace → Jobs → New Job.
- Enter company, title, description, status, and optional jobsite.
- In the header bar above the form, pick Candidate source for AI: Profile, Main resume, or Imagined resume.
- For Main resume, select a role category (generate that main resume in Main Resumes first). For Imagined resume, pick a generated imagined record.
- Save the job, then use Summarize on the job description and Generate cover text when needed.
- Choose resume language on the PDF panel, then Generate a tailored job PDF; use Job advisor chat for fit and interview prep.
Paste the full job description for better analysis. The selected resume context drives Summarize, cover text, and advisor chat — not just raw profile data. Keep job status updated so Overview stats stay useful.

Draft factual Upwork proposals grounded in your profile and the job post, including screening questions.
- Open Workspace → Upwork Bids → New.
- Enter the project title.
- Paste the full Upwork post, including screening questions.
- Click Generate Bid and review the draft.
- Edit the text, then save for reuse.
Include screening questions verbatim so answers can be written in Q&A form. Keep the bid human, specific, and aligned with your real experience.

Save interviews with a resume source, optional job details, a reusable answer prompt, and a Telegram channel or group. Open View to watch the live screen share, captions, and AI short plus detailed answers. Send extra notes to Telegram from View.
- Open Workspace → Interview Assistant.
- Add reusable prompts that should improve later AI answers.
- Click New Interview and enter an interview name.
- Choose original profile, a main resume, or an imagined resume.
- Optionally fill job title, company, URL, description, and company info.
- Paste the bot token, add the bot to your private group or channel, then click Find chats and pick it. Public chats can still use @username.
- Select a prompt and an interview date and time.
- Start the Caption app so status turns On during the live session.
- In Caption, click Share screen to send a window or display to this interview.
- Click View to watch the shared screen, interviewer, candidate, and AI captions in real time, and send extra Telegram messages from there.
Job details can be skipped. Captions only stream while status is On; existing captions remain visible when Off. For private Telegram chats, add the bot and use Find chats instead of looking up an ID. AI answers stay on the asked topic and do not invent experience.
Open Interview AssistantCaption desktop app
Caption runs on your computer. It listens to the meeting and your microphone, shows live captions, and syncs interviewer lines, your lines, and workspace AI answers. Speech stays on this PC — audio is not uploaded.
- Download Caption from the home page Applications list (Windows setup is Caption-Setup-x.y.z.exe).
- Install and open Caption, then sign in with the same workspace account.
- Select the interview you created in Interview Assistant.
- Choose a speech model: Fast (tiny), Balanced (base), or Accurate (small). Caption recommends one for this PC.
- Start listening, then Share screen if the workspace View page should show your window or display.
- Keep Caption running during the interview so status stays On and AI answers appear in Caption and in View.
Speech models
Fast is lightest (~75 MB). Balanced is the usual laptop choice (~145 MB). Accurate is best wording (~466 MB) and prefers more RAM, CPU, or an NVIDIA GPU. Admins publish those local models in Admin → Caption models. Caption asks before downloading a new or updated model from the workspace.
Auto-update
Caption checks My Job Workspace on launch and every 15 minutes. App updates install only the Caption program — not speech models. When an admin publishes a Caption installer whose version is higher than the one you are running, the app asks before installing. Replacing a file without a higher version does not trigger an update. Speech models are published separately; Caption asks before downloading a new or updated local model.
Pick a model before Start. Stop listening before switching models. Caption asks before installing the app when the admin publishes a higher version, and before downloading a speech model when a newer model file is published.

- Always select an AI option (own key or USDT) before generating large PDFs or bids. The dashboard shows which one is active.
- Set resume language once — it applies to Jobs, Main Resumes, and Imagined Resumes automatically.
- Keep employer URLs and dates accurate — generators preserve them when possible.
- For imagined resumes, name companies in requirements when you want a requirements-led career narrative.
- Re-publish portfolio after profile updates you want clients to see.
- For Jobs AI, generate the main resume once per role category before choosing Main resume as candidate source.
- Use Preview profile (with Copy buttons) to grab contact, education, or experience text for forms.

FAQ
Why does generation fail?
Usually no AI option is ready — add your OpenAI key in Settings and select that option, or deposit USDT on Billing and select the platform key (OpenAI list price + 10%). Keys can also be invalid or rate-limited. Long generations need a stable connection (WebSocket preferred).
What is the difference between main and imagined resumes?
Main = profile-only, truthful career document. Imagined = target-role narrative that may adapt or invent experience based on your requirements.
Do I need a portfolio?
Optional but recommended. Publishing creates a public profile link you can share alongside resumes and Upwork proposals. Choose a portfolio site style in Settings first.
How is AI billed?
You choose one option. Your own OpenAI key is free and is never charged from USDT. The platform key uses prepaid USDT on Solana. Each token is billed at OpenAI’s published list price plus a 10% platform fee. The dashboard, Billing, and Settings all show the option you selected.
What is the trial API key?
An admin-provided OpenAI key you can enable in Settings (or from the generate prompt) for a few generations. For ongoing use, register your own key (free) or deposit USDT and select the platform key (OpenAI + 10%).
What is the 10% platform fee?
Only in USDT / platform-key mode. If OpenAI charges $0.40 per 1M input tokens, you pay $0.44. Cached and output tokens use the same +10% on OpenAI’s list price. Your own key has no platform fee.
How do I switch between my key and USDT?
Open the workspace dashboard, Billing, or Settings and select one of the two cards. The selected option is highlighted. Minimum deposit is $10 USDT on Solana (SPL USDT only — not native SOL or other tokens).
Why does Jobs say to generate the main resume first?
When Candidate source is Main resume, AI loads the saved resume JSON for that role. Generate the PDF once in Main Resumes so the JSON is stored. If you only have an old PDF from before this feature, click Generate again to refresh the saved context.
What is the difference between site language and resume language?
Site language (Settings → Language) changes menus and UI labels (English or Chinese). Resume language changes the content inside PDFs — summary, bullets, and section headings — in any of 20+ languages via OpenAI. They work independently.
How do I sign in with Google?

How does Caption auto-update work?
Caption checks the public update feed on launch and every 15 minutes. On Admin → Applications, upload or replace a Caption Windows installer (name or filename should include Caption, e.g. Caption-Setup.exe). The app uses the file's updated date — replacing the file is enough even if the version number stays the same. Caption asks before installing; choose Update now or Later. Later postpones that published file until a newer upload is available. Speech models are not inside the installer — publish them on Admin → Caption models, and Caption asks before downloading a new or updated model.
